Native American dwellings

Mesa Verde is located in the state of Colorado and is known for its well-preserved Native American dwellings, which are located on this massif, at an altitude of up to about 2,500 meters above sea level. The oldest archaeological finds document the presence of people in this area approximately 7,500 BC. The first stone dwellings were built in the 7th century and larger rock buildings were built from the 11th century. There is a beautiful museum about that. Today, the area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site

Today, the area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before we got to Mesa Verde, we visited the Pearl of Needles TP and then Canyolands NP, where the landscape is now strictly forbidden and it is not possible to get here. Only for prospects. When we arrive at Mesa Verde, it is necessary to conquer a huge massif, which reaches an altitude of up to 2500 m above sea level, and in the canyons you can see these Indian pueblos, which the Anastazians had. We stopped in the local Íček where there is a beautiful museum with a development. Worth seeing. The first thing we will visit is Sprucetree House, but unfortunately we did not get inside, due to an incident where one boy was injured while climbing the wall of this monument. Then we move on to the lookout and from it you can see the dwellings of Clifft House, Oaktree House, Suntemple House. Mummie House. There is a very special landscape. With the coming autumn, it turns yellow. We are already in Native American territory, so no one should be surprised by many Indians, but one has problems whether or not he is a Mexican. We also had to visit Four Corners TP where the Indians want $ 6 per person – scumbags. There are shops, but expect that 80% are products made from China. :-D. Then we slept on Sand Island, where there will be a demonstration of why sleep in the USA in the USA and why many Americans go out into nature with their caravans on weekends.
Museum
The development is well captured in the museum.

Sprucetree House
One of the most famous Puebel.

View of the Canyon
Breathtaking spectacle to one of the canyons

Clifft House
Another of Puebel made available.

A view into the interior of the Canyon
At first glance, one overlooks, but if he looks into the alcoves he sees another pueblo.

Remains
This was supposed to be like an Indian church, but I don't know exactly.

Surrounding countryside
Such are the views from the plateau

Another of the views
Another of the views from the edge of the canyon and at the same time the park, the landscape in autumn has a special color

Four Corners TP
Fourth Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico. It costs a $ 6 intrusive today. I don't think it's worth it. There are many Native American shops, but expect that 80% of the products were produced by China.

Sand Island Campground
We spent the night here. Beautiful campsite by the San Juan river.

Such evenings with a starry sky
Here is a small example of why to sleep in the USA than in a hotel or motel. Every day in a different environment and atmosphere? Not to be described.

Milky Way
Another view of evenings in the USA. Taking a picture of the Milky Way is really easy.
