View of the most famous arch in Arches National Park

The most famous and most photogenic place in Arches National Park is undoubtedly Delicate Arch. The most famous route in the park leads directly to it. You can also take another, less visited walk here, which will take you to the other side of the valley.
Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint
As you pass through the park, turn off Main Park Road onto Delicate Arch Road (which is about 20km from the US191 state road turn). After some 2 kilometers there is a turn to the main parking lot at the exit road to Delicate Arch. We continue for another kilometer and a half to the very end, where our walk begins. From here it is about three quarters of a kilometer to the edge of the valley from where there is a beautiful view of the Arch and also the massive rock below us.

Winter Camp Wash Valley
Below us lies the valley of the seasonal river Winter Camp Wash. More than an arch, a beautiful rock dominates the view

A walk along the edge of the rock
It is definitely worth not to turn around like most and go back from the vantage point, but to continue along the rocky plateau further along the edge of the valley, for views with a slightly different perspective

Delicate Arch
Although Delicate Arch looks relatively small from this point of view compared to a compact rock massif, the people around it are like complete ants.

Final outlook
From the final viewpoint is a really beautiful and wide view of the region
