The area can also be visited during the monsoon as it is in the rain shadow. The only problem may be to get to the starting point, i.e. to Jomsom. Flights from Pokhara are often cancelled due to bad weather and the journey on land (1–2 days by bus or off-road vehicle) is often affected by numerous landslides.
