An island with two beaches
Beras Basah is a small almost completely forested island south of the main island of Langkawi. There are two beaches, one east and one north. Island hopping boats stop at these beaches.
Landing at the island
Beras Basah Island is usually the last stop on an Island Hopping trip. Resting on the beach after sailing between the islands. Most stop at the northern beach, which is larger, but at low tide it is quite shallow and you can't swim much here. It lands so far from shore by a long plastic jetty.
Beautiful original interior
The most beautiful of the islands here is their intact interior with original jungle.
Remains of corals
You can already see from the pier how shallow the water is and how many remains of the original coral reef there are.

The local beach
The beach here is beautiful, but not much for swimming.
The other side of the beach
There is also a small snack bar behind the beach, where you can buy a snack, have a coconut processed, etc.
