Cruise to Pulau Dayang Bunting

Depending on the tide, this cruise departs either from the beach at Dash Resort or from the jetty in Teluk Bay. The journey is about 12 kilometers long, so smaller speedboats with about 10 people each sail there. The first island to pass is Pulau Tepur, on which there are two small beaches.

The boats sail as fast as they can until the water sprays in all directions. The next islet we pass is Pulau Singa Kecil – a rock wall overgrown with lush vegetation. The height of the rock is several tens of meters.

The typical landscape of this archipelago is a limestone mountain surrounded by jungle with a rocky coast and the occasional small beach. What is beautiful is that many of these places are not inhabited, so it is essentially a virgin region

Perhaps also because a large part of the coast is impassable, the islands have preserved their original character to this day

Anyone who does not have a bad imagination will immediately recognize why it is called a sleeping pregnant woman – the shape of the mountain range is a clue.

We are slowly approaching the jetty and I must say that Pulau Dayang Bunting looks really beautiful from the boat!

Boats that have already unloaded tourists at the pier are anchored in the calm waters of the bay. One must always admire the surrounding rocks.

After a long jetty, you will enter the Dayang Bunting Geoforest Park and follow a path through the jungle to the lake.
