Amazing natural rock bridge
Not far from the larger town of Demnate (about 100 km east of Marrakech) you will find a huge natural bridge carved into the limestone by the Tisslit River. A circular walking route takes you down into the canyon, under the rock arch itself and back up. Inside the rock bridge, there are stalactites hanging and you can see bats. Entry is free. Of course, there are various guides „hanging around“ here, so if you use their services, they expect you to pay them. The interesting thing is that a normal road runs along this natural bridge.
Descent to the river
First you come to the viewpoint from the bridge itself. The Tisslit River flows far below you and a staircase winds down in front of you. Fortunately, this will discourage some tourists, because once you get down, you also have to climb back up (on the other side).

After a few minutes of walking down the stairs, the view of the beautiful rock bridge you were standing on a moment ago begins to open up.

We finally descended to the very bottom of the gorge. The small river canyon itself is very beautiful.
Passage under the bridge
Now begins the most interesting part of the whole walk – crossing the rock bridge. It doesn't look like much in the photo – but it is really gigantic!
Road under the bridge
Walking under the bridge is a really great experience. Moreover, the route is improved compared to before, so there is no danger here – of course you still need to be careful not to slip, etc.

That's not all – on the way back up you can admire the impassable river canyon.
In total, expect 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how much you enjoy yourself here, etc.
