Travelling by plane
Every day there are several connections to Huangshan (Tunxi airport) from major Chinese cities (Bejing, Xian, Shanghai, Hong Kong, …). From the airport it is possible to take bus no. 19 to Tunxi Bus Station from where to Tangkou.
Traveling by train
Huangshan can be reached by express train to Huangshan North Railway Station (from Bejing South, Shanghai, Xian, Changsha, Hangzhou ..) or by „normal“ train to Huangshan Railway Station (from Nanjing, Bejing West, Shanghai, Kunming). However, it is good to consider the price / performance ratio, because Bejing, for example, is a high-speed train for about 6 hours and a normal 20 hours. From the train stations it is then necessary to move to Tunxi Bus Station and then go to Tangkou.
