On the lake along volcano San Pedro
Ship transportation between Santiago and San Pedro is still more common than along the road at the southern foot of the volcano San Pedro. Moreover, it is also quite nice cruise with views of the mighty cone of San Pedro. Considering that the sail is just on the lake, there are sometimes quite large waves.
Wharf in Santiago
There are cheap buffets in the port, so everyone can have a snack here during waiting for the ship departure. Wharfs are just simple wooden bridges without railings.

The largest dominant of the whole cruise is volcano San Pedro. It is a good tip for a half-day hike for passionate hikers.

Volcanoes Atitlan and Toliman
Surprisingly large waves are occasionally made up on the lake and they splash the tourists preferring sitting in front of the boat, where are good views, but no roof. The back view to Atitlán a Tolimán is very nice.
San Pedro in sight
San Pedro is located in places, where the bottom of the caldera towers above the water level and there is a place not only for the town but also for the fields of farmers.

After about an hour and a half the ship finally lands in the small port of San Pedro.
