The oldest Botovník in the Czech Republic
This is an updated article from 2017. I wrote earlier that it is the only Botovník in the world. This is not the case. They exist in America, but there are more of them in our basin. This is located in the area of Czech Canada near the Kačležský pond. Local legends say that the origin of Botovník is due to footballers, who went here right after the season and threw their shoes on a tree. We will obviously talk about the oldest Botovník in Bohemia. It will not be as they say in Harrachov.
Botovník
These are photos from 2017. According to the condition of the shoes, it can be concluded that the shoes have been here much longer than since 2013, when Botovník was made in Harrachov, which is called První Botovník. If we add the legend, the local footballers took care of the much older Botovník and is still alive.
Hundreds of couples hang here
From the first glance, it can be seen that some pieces have been hanging here for a very long time, even in what they are already decomposing.

The shoemaker is almost like ivy. Some people hang their shoes on a completely different tree than on the Botovník with their unsuccessful throws.
Botovník near Ostrovecký mill
Botovník near Ostrovecký mlýn is not so fruitful. It is located in Křivoklátsko. It is proof that the Botovniks are expanding.
