A trip to the water mills in Oblaze
A beautiful place in the Kvačianská dolina
One of the most picturesque places in the Kvačianská valley are the water mills in Oblaze. They are located below the tourist intersection of the blue and red routes. You will find two mills here – Upper and Dolní. There is such a small technical museum in Dolní mlýn, which is definitely worth a visit. If you go for a walk in the Kvačina valley, be sure to go here.
Upper mill in Oblaze
Both mills are located directly on the blue tourist route connecting the Prosiecká and Kvačianska valleys. The main red route itself is about 350 meters away from here. The first one you will see is the Upper Mill, which is smaller than the Lower
Footbridge over the Kvačianka River
Each of the mills is located on a different bank of the Kvačianka river, so a tourist footbridge has been built here

The lower mill stands in a picturesque place under a rock wall. Just in front of it is a weir and mill drive
A herd of goats
A herd of goats moves around the mills. You cross the footbridge from one side of the river to the other. Only the goat takes it straight across the water.
