Walk north of Boudhanath

Peace Park in Kathmandu
Just 100 meters north of Boudhanath, you will find the first attraction of this walk – Peace Park. There is a nice pond and large statues. It is a popular place for local believers

After exploring the park, continue north along Pawo Gompa Street with its many shops

Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling
After a short walk, you can walk to the most monumental building in the district, Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery. Next door is the Rangjung Yeshe Institute, which teaches Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy. You will meet quite a few western students of all ages here

By the main road
You can roam in the Buddhist district for quite a long time, in total there are about 15 smaller or larger monasteries in the wider area. The northern region is bordered by a busy street, where you can easily stop a taxi and move on where you need
