The capital of Nepal
Kathmandu, situated in the vast Kathmandu basin surrounded by mountains, is the largest and the capital of Nepal. Up to six million people live in this basin. The most famous monuments are the Boudhanat, Swayambhunath and Durbar Square. The whole city is notoriously crowded and full of motorbikes twitching between people.
