Travelling by bus

Petr Liška Wrote 06.02.2015:
  • Transport is very simple and inexpensive. The bus leaves every morning from La Paz on an international link to Arica in Chile (But you will have to buy the full fare. Get off at the crossroads, from where it is about less than 11 km along small road. You can either walk or hitchhike a jeep (if you are lucky).
  • On the way back it depends on, where you are heading next. If you head back to La Paz, so you must get to the crossroads again and hitchhike here. If you head to Chile, so it is better to arrange a jeep in Sajama and get to the border crossing Chungara – Tambo Quemado, where you can take a bus.
