It is advisable to choose accommodation on the spot and negotiate the price. Of course, a longer stay means a better price. E.g. in May, when the season ends, you can get the price of 8000 BTH per month in a standard room with bathroom and air conditioning. Resorts are of course more expensive. There are also a number of romantic cottages by the beach, which provide easy living, including air conditioning.
