Kathmandu is the main gateway to Nepal. The easiest and fastest transport to/from the airport, around the city and the sights is in taxi. If you travel in bigger number, it is then also quite inexpensive option.

Remember to always negotiate a bargain price in advance, especially for a longer route. Taxi drivers always begin with extraordinary high prices.
