The area in the middle between Brdy and Šumava represents a romantic and very diverse landscape. It is a rolling granite highlands, which gradually slopes from the west to the rivers Otava and Vltava. There are no long ridges, only densely forested isolated hills. The most beautiful tourist areas are located on the lower reaches of the rivers Lomnice and Skalice. In addition to preserved nature, you will find important historical monuments, important churches small villages.
