Vilnius is located at the confluence of the Neris and Vilnius rivers. The city has half a million inhabitants. The city center is a Baroque old town. There is also Gedimin Hill, with the old castle. Interesting is Cathedral Square with an unusually classical pure white cathedral, towers and statues of Lithuanian princes. The gem of the Gothic architecture – St. Anne's brick church is definitely worth a visit.
