City cable car at 4000 m above sea level
In the world's highest-ranked Bolivian capital, La Paz, you can take a network of cable cars – the so-called teleferico. You will find here 36 stations that will take you comfortably and for a few crowns from the city center, which is located in the basin (but still at 4000 m above sea level), to the edge of the basin to Palo Alto.
