They been there:

It is a massive karst ditch, which originated in the Mesozoic. Its width is about 300 m and the depth is about 70 m. It was completely filled with colorful sandstones and clays. This is the only preserved profile of the upper variegated position of the Rudice strata in the Moravian Karst. Interesting finds include small quartz geodes. The quarry was opened in the 1950s, and the local refractory sands and clays were used in the Blane foundries.
