Michalská Gate is the only preserved gate out of the original four in Bratislava's city fortifications, named after the settlement that was located here in the past, while today it is reminded only of a pink tombstone located at the height of the third floor. The tower was built at the end of the 14th century, and it acquired its Baroque appearance after reconstruction in the years 1753–1758.
