Besides the desert peninsula of Paracas, near the town of Pisco there is a small interesting archipelago – Isla Ballestas. There are small islands besieged by sea birds – cormorants, pelicans, raccoons and others. Tourists are also very interested by sea lions basking on the local rocks.

Tučňáci, lachtani, hejna ptáků nejrůznějších druhů, obrovští červení krabi lezoucí po skalách, i zajímavé skalní útvary...jenom škoda, že lodě to jenom objedou a nezastaví se tam (ostrůvky jsou maličké, takže by to asi ani nešlo)
