Látrabjark, the bird cliffs with the Bjargtangar lighthouse, are the westernmost point of Europe (excluding the Azores) and certainly the westernmost point and building of Iceland. They stretch in a 14 km long belt, so they are also the longest bird cliffs in Europe. The path leads along the top of the cliff and offers incredible views of thousands of seabirds. Alkanes, alcoves, cormorants, roaches, gulls and puffins nest here.
