With ascent to Brennisteinsald (881 m asl) and Bláhnúkur (945 m asl)
Trek in the Liparite (rainbow) mountains of Landmannalaugár, in the Fjallabak nature reserve. Views from the Brennisteinsalda and Bláhnúkur peaks to the Grænagil gorge, the valleys of the Jökullgilskvísl, Námskvísl and Brandsgilskvísl rivers. Return to the lava field Laugahraun. Elevation approx. 400 m. Starting point – camp Landmannalaugár, cottage Sæluhús.
