The peninsula of the northwestern Iceland is wild, rugged and full of beautiful nature. Dozens of fjords surrounded by majestic rocks and hills flow into the tip of the promontory, on which is the country's fifth largest glacier, Drangajökull. Thanks to the mountainous landscape, these areas are very rarely inhabited, and the best seafood can be tasted in local villages and settlements.
