Church of St. Mikuláš in Chamovniky dates from the end of the 17th century, its construction was ordered by local weavers. Its bright green and orange domes compete with St. Basil's Cathedral for the most colorful title in Moscow. It is a short walk from the city center, south of the Crimean Bridge, and although it is one of the most beautiful temples in Moscow, you will not find crowds of tourists here.
