Chang La Pass (5 360 asl) is the highest road pass in Ladakh, over which leads a „normal“ road. Far better known Khardung la is about a meter lower. Over the very highest Marsimik la leads only not very used military path to the border with China. Despite its great height you should not expect amazing views – the pass is hidden between the ridges and the view is thus very limited. However, unless you ascend to any nearby mountain.
