The predominantly French-speaking Brussels with more than a million inhabitants offers a magnificent Grand Place with an impressive city hall and guild houses as well as a new Atomium in the shape of a 165-billion-square-a-half-iron-sized molecule. But the city is more famous for its Belgian pralines, waffles, French fries, and Manneken Pis.
