The great triumphal arch was built by Napoleon Bonaparte in honor of the great victory of the Bataille D'Austerlitz known to us as the Battle of Austerlitz. From 1806 to 1836, it stands in the middle of Place Charles-de-Gaulle. at the western end of the famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. Inside the building is a small museum focused on the history of the building.
