Most of the beaches around the famous tourist resort Marmaris are literally beautiful. In addition to pure azure water and great swimming, you will be captivated mainly by their photogenic mountainous surroundings. Several hundred-meter-high limestone mountains rise right from the sea, giving the beach a dramatic atmosphere. Of course, the biggest resorts are overcrowded, but there are beaches almost empty too.
