International air: regular flights run mainly to Athens and Thessaloniki. Most flights, especially during the summer season, however, are charter flights to individual Greek islands. The main local carrier is Aegean Airlines connecting Athens with major European cities. Domestic flights: from Athens you can get to smaller islands by smaller propeller planes, where large charter planes do not fly, eg to Milos
