The largest yacht marina in Turkey
The port in Marmaris is surrounded on three sides by the old town, so it is ideal to see first the port and then delve the streets in the old part. In the west, so close to the promenade, anchor the cruise ships and it is the most busy here around 10 am and then at 6 pm , when trips start / end. Right next to it there is a huge yacht marina, reputedly the largest in the whole of Turkey. There is also a place where approximately every other day anchor massive cruise ships.

Painted hulls shine amazingly in the evenings light. Here you can see hundreds and hundreds of ships.

A great attraction for tourists are there huge ships that stop here on their circuits along southeastern Turkey and leave in the evening to arrive for example to Bodrum during the night.

It is interesting to see the harbor, the old town and the surrounding mountains from the top deck of a cruise ship. Everything gets a bit different dimension.

It is really busy in the vicinity of the port around ten o'clock in the morning, because all sorts of boats leave for trips to nearby coves.
