Bazaar in Kashan is one of its greatest attractions. Not only because of hundreds of colorful shops, but also due to the vast underground channels Qanats supplying drinking water to the town from the surrounding mountains, adjacent mosques and tombs, and last but not least caravanserais or spas. You will spend here the most time during your tour around Kashan.

There is endless number of various goods in the bazaar – design, materials and colors correspond entirely with Central Asian region.

Except for the typical shops, there are also really interesting places, such as small manufactory with spice mill.
Mosques in the bazaar
The entire bazaar is actually a tangle of roofed passages, where sellers and buyers are protected from strong sunlight. There are also plenty of small mosques like this one at one of the side entrances to the bazaar.
The most beautiful part of the Iranian bazaars are beautifully decorated karavansarais.
The local traditional teahouses in the bazaar are very pleasant. You can recover here and listen to interesting stories about Kashan history.
There are also a lot of places, the glory of which has long gone. Not only in the bazaar, but also in the old town.
