View from Kozákov
View from the highest mountain of the Bohemian Paradise
Kozákov with its 744 meters above sea level is the highest point of the wider delimitation of the Bohemian Paradise. Thanks to the lookout tower at the top, it is also a great view in all directions. The north is dominated by the walls of the Giant Mountains and in front of them the hills of the Giant Mountains. To the south is the Bohemian Paradise with the Ruins. However, with good visibility, you also have the Lusatian Mountains or the Kokořínsko and Mácha regions in the palm of your hand. At the same time, it is a good starting point for several tourist circuits
Kozakov Peak
Kozákov is a very busy hill mainly due to the fact that the road leads to the top. Parking is charged in high season. There is a bustle not only of tourists with a car, but also of cyclists, for whom a trip to Kozakov is the biggest challenge far and wide. Here, of course, tourists commute not only along the „ridge“ of the Bohemian Paradise. The top itself is quite flat, so for proper views you have to climb the lookout tower. Atmosphere in Kozákov
You will experience the best atmosphere in Kozákov early in the morning or in the early evening, when there are not so many people, but it is not an open lookout tower, so the views are not perfectly circular
