View of Prague from Branické skaly
On the northwestern edge of the Braník district of Prague, above the Vltava River, there is the natural monument Branická skály. On the edge of the forest park is a wooden observation deck, from which there is an interesting view of the Vltava and the panorama of Prague
Vávr's prospect
In the northern part of the Branické skály Nature Park, there is a low wooden platform on the ridge of the rocks. This viewing platform offers an unusual view across the Vltava valley to the panorama of Prague. The construction of the lookout was designed by the well-known architect David Vávra, who also works in the „Sklep“ theater ensemble at the nearby Dobeška Theater.
View of Prague
From the viewpoint it is very good to see the silhouette of the church of St. Vít, Václav and Vojtěch, 5.5 kilometers away. Like the Basilica of St. Peter and Paul in Vyšehrad, only 2.5 kilometers away.
View of Barrandov bridge
The view of the road overpass from Barrandov Hill to Barrandov Bridge is a bit bizarre, but some people seem to enjoy the view. The view of the Barrandov housing estate may be somewhat affected by local smog caused by heavy car traffic.
