The largest beach on the island of Koh Samet
If you are on Koh Samet accommodation near the capital Phe, you have within walking distance of three nice beaches next to each other, separated only by small rocks. Haad Sai Kaew is the longest on the island and right next to the town, so life and bustle is the biggest here. If you like peace and swimming in the evening, then come here at least for dinner
East of Haad Sai Kaew beach
The eastern end of Haad Sai Kaew Beach is probably the quietest of this three-quarter-kilometer beach. At its very end is a small temple.
Snow-white sand
Of all the beaches on Koh Samet, the most snow-white one came to me. Haad Sai Kaew beach is ideal for those who like wide and long beaches without major waves (especially in the morning)
Snacks on the beach
You will never starve to death on Thai beaches. The seller with fruit or some fried goodies will walk through here for a while. In addition, they are not intrusive, unlike blacks offering trinkets on Mediterranean beaches
Koh Samet - Selfie Point
At the very western end of Haad Sai Kaew beach is a few rocks, a statue and the inscription of the name of the island, making for most visitors the most classic photo place on the island of Koh Samet
Evening life on the beach
After dark, the restaurateurs start pulling tables and chairs on the beach and the real atmosphere of good food, fun and relaxation begins. Apart from fish, Thai specialties and fruit, there are of course also sellers of all kinds of pancakes. This is how it is on almost every beach, but on Haad Sai Kaew it is of course the largest on Koh Samet.
