Doha Airport is practically right next to the city, so you won't be far from the center. So everything is within relative walking distance. The first interesting place is the fish market with a wide selection of seafood.

If you want to walk to the skyscraper part of the city, count on almost 5 kilometers in one direction.

Just a short walk from the Islamic Center is Old Doha – a small historic district with the famous Souq Waqif.
