Ascent to the Kara Torek saddle

This bridge is an important sign on the road, because it is necessary to turn into the canyon of the river Tekeloška, which ascends to the saddle, the road is inconspicuous and almost unobstructed, so there are almost no traces visible and you need to go mainly according to intuition.

The trail is very faintly visible, especially in the lower part of the canyon, but after a few meters you will find that there is no second way to turn and you still have to climb up between the beautiful and green birch forest.

Since we are in a protected area, during the whole ascent there are fallen trees along the way.

The river creates a large number of interesting formations along the way.

When looking behind the back, we see beautiful forests that cover the entire valley of the river Kucherla and at the same time the surrounding slopes.

The road gradually worsens and passes through rubble fields where stones run from underfoot and great care must be taken when ascending.

In the higher parts of the trek we go to a pine forest in which there is a large amount of blueberries and so there is an excellent opportunity to stop and replenish energy.

After 6 hours of climbing, we set up tents and set up camp, as sleeping in higher-lying areas without vegetation would not be the happiest solution.
