Belucha trek3: the final ascent to the Kara Torek saddle and the descent to Lake Akkemsky is the most physically demanding part of the trek so far, when we ascend by 1000 meters, which we then descend. During the trek, it is not possible to replenish drinking water supplies, but it is possible to enjoy the unforgettable views of the bottom of the surrounding hills, which in many ways resemble the much higher mountains of Central Asia.

Ascent to the saddle

It snowed during the night in the highest parts, but these are not the places through which the trek leads, and after the initial ascent, there is a sharp descent and crossing of the river.

Views behind the back

The views on the opposite side where we come from are also breathtaking and we enjoy wonderful views in all directions during breaks.

"Himalayas"

As the altitude rises, the first peaks above 5,000 meters begin to show us and we begin to feel like we are in the Himalayas, or other higher mountains.

Path

After demanding hours, we start to approach the saddle, which, however, occurs a little further than we originally thought.

Views to the other side of the saddle

After about 4 hours of climbing, we get to the point where it is possible to see the area behind the saddle, which is still about 30 minutes walk.
