After the largest peat bog in the Ore Mountains
Božídarské peat bog is the largest peat bog in the Ore Mountains. You can see it well if you set out from Boží Dar along an educational trail about three kilometers long. You will enjoy beautiful meadows and views not only of Božidarský Špičák. Thanks to the nature trail, you can learn about the local landscape and history
The beginning of the attic sidewalk
This nature trail starts in Boží Dar (1,028 m above sea level), which is the highest town in the Czech Republic. The marked trail starts right in the center of this town and after a while you are already on a beautiful attic path leading across the peat bog.

The top passages of the Ore Mountains are not dramatic, but it is a picturesque landscape of flowering mountain meadows
A walk on the attic sidewalk
A walk along this nature trail is absolutely simple, suitable for families or the elderly. The dominant view of this walk is Božidarský Špičák (1,115 m above sea level), which is also the highest point of the entire national nature reserve.
