The Giant Mountains Weather and season

The mountain range is very popular, both in summer (tourism) and even more in the winter (ski season). Extremely crowded is the area around Snezka mainly thanks to Polish tourists setting here off from town of Karpacz..The mountains are accessible throughout the year:
- Spring: it is ideal for visiting local waterfalls as they have most water
- Summer: the mountains are pretty green, but there is quite often hazy and the visibility is thus limited
- Autumn: grass has almost orange color and it contributes to an interesting atmosphere of the mountains
- Winter: downhill and cross-country ski season. It is the most pleasant to come here during the inversion in the lowlands, when you can bask in the sun on the tops
