Area Tashkent

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is a dynamic metropolis combining modern architecture with traces of a thousand years of history. It lies at the crossroads of ancient trade routes and was an important center of the Silk Road. Today, it offers a mix of Soviet urbanism, Islamic monuments and green boulevards.
