Kočkor and surroundings

The dusty town of Kočkor is the center of a large and varied area and at the same time an amazing starting point for a number of closer and more distant mountain tours. You can go directly from here under the slightly glaciated four-thousanders hiding the beautiful lake Köl Ükök or for several-day trips to the huge lake Sonkol. At the same time, from here you can head to the south side of the mighty Kyrgyz ridge.
