Sumatra falls into the archipelago of the Great Sunda. The area is the largest Indonesian island with the capital Medan. More than 50 million people live here. It is the sixth largest island in the world. Travelers are heading here, due to the vast rainforest, which is unfortunately intensively cleared. You will also find high volcanoes led by the Kerinci volcano
