Beach full of attractions
Palawan Beach is one of the three main beaches on Sentosa Island. They are actually two semicircular bays and across from them is a small island with a lookout tower. There is also a Hydrodash attraction. Directly above the beach is the huge Capella Singapore hotel . The Palawan Beach Walk then runs along the coast.
Palawan Beach
All the beaches on Sentosa look quite similar – because they are artificially built together with the islets. There is golden sand and relatively few bathers.
Hydrodash
Palawan Beach consists of two half-moon bays. In one of them there is a jumping attraction for children Hydrodash
Eastern part of Palawan Beach
The eastern part of Palawan Beach is quieter and more scenic than the western part
Bridge to the island
If you are already on the Palawan beach, it is definitely worth using the nice rope bridge and going to the island with the lookout towers.
The southernmost point of continental Asia?
On the island there is this sign that you are at the southernmost point of continental Asia. In fact, this is nonsense, because even Singapore itself is an island, Sentosa lying south of it is also an island, and this small artificial island is also not a landmass at all. The real island lies a short distance away in Malaysia and is called Pontian Kechil.
Observation towers
There are two lookout towers of the same height next to each other on the island. Both are freely available with no entrance fee
View of the bridge from the lookout tower
There are quite nice views from the observation tower, although it would not hurt to be 4–5 meters higher
View of the western part of the beach
The western part of the beach with Hydrodash is not as nice as the eastern part.
Eastern part of the beach
The eastern part of the beach is picturesque and probably the best of the beaches on Sentosa.
View of the open sea
Basically, there is incredible maritime traffic around the whole of Singapore. Everywhere you look you see cargo ships.
