In addition to altitude and frequent bad weather, you will also struggle with poor surfaces and frequent „endless“ convoys of military vehicles and other trucks. Khardung la: A big challenge for cyclists is to go to the famous Khardung la saddle (similar to a classic car trip). A fairly popular option is to be taken there by bike and pass the pass back to Léh (it is no longer a valuable sporting performance, but you will definitely enjoy it anyway)
