Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea. To the north of it lies Lefkada, to the south Zakynthos and to the east the smaller Ithaca. The island is very mountainous with the highest peak among the Ionian Islands – Ainos (1,628m). You will find beautiful beaches here. The most famous of them is Myrtos, one of the most beautiful beaches not only in Greece, but also in the Mediterranean.
