Sometimes you will meet rough cyclists here as well, but it is definitely not due to the weak nature to pedal the bike often in strong headwinds and clouds of dust at altitudes over four thousand meters above sea level. Remember, however, that you practically do not have the opportunity to add water between individual villages and in general you must be extremely self-sufficient.
