Eastern Turkey really offers a lot of interesting places – the biblical mountain Ararat and other interesting volcanoes, the mighty Lake Van, beautiful Armenian monuments, including the former royal city of Ani. The local landscape is different from the rest of Turkey – a high plateau stretching from horizon to horizon. Definitely different natures travel here than to the resorts around Antalya
