A zoological and botanical garden in one
The zoo in Pilsen is one of the largest in the Czech Republic. It is located on the side of a hill, so you also have nice views of the city of Pilsen, both of the historical center and of industrial enterprises. Due to its location and size, it is one of the most physically demanding if you want to go through everything. 1,200 species of animals are kept here, which is the most in the entire Czech Republic. There are really extensive enclosures for bears and wolves, which makes them pleasant living conditions. In addition, it is also a botanical garden.
