Velký Stožek 978 m above sea level lies on the line of the Czech – Polish border. It is the 3rd highest peak in the Silesian Beskydy Mountains on the Czech side. There is a beautiful ascent and I recommend going through Malý Stožek, where there is now a historic customs house. At the top is a snack bar in the form of an old cottage Schronisko PTTK in Stożka from 1922. It is on the Polish side, but they also take Czech money.
